Diplomystus fish fossil Wyoming 50 million years old


This fish fossil comes from the Green River Formation in Kemmerer Wyoming. It is about 50 million years old. Found in an ancient lake bed millions of years ago.

This fish fossil is a Diplomystus dentatus. This fish is second most common fish found in the ancient lake. This is a natural fossil that has been exposed out of the limestone in which it was found in.

It is cut as if you wanted to frame it to show it off in your house.
